The Origins and Production of Dried Red Apricots

As the name suggests, dried red apricots are a type of dried fruit made from red apricots through processes such as air-drying and dehydration. Also known as "cherry apricots," these fruits feature an orange-red hue, plump and juicy flesh, and a delicious flavor. Each spring, when the fruit ripens, the apricots are harvested and undergo a series of processing steps to become the dried red apricots we know today.
