Storage Conditions for Dried Apples

Jul 13, 2026 Leave a message

Dried apples should be stored in a cool, dry, and dimly lit environment. Lower storage temperatures extend shelf life; the ideal range is 0–2°C, though temperatures should generally not exceed 4–10°C. Drier air is preferable, with a relative humidity of below 65% being optimal. Vacuum packaging can help prolong the product's shelf life. Additionally, it is important to protect the product from moisture and rain, as well as from damage by insects and rodents. These measures are essential for maintaining the quality of the dried apples.
